Thanks to a head-mounted display, the viewer is plunged into a hybrid room where direct sensory perception is being expanded. A tracking device picks up the perception systems co-ordinates so as to perform congruent superimposition of 3D space upon real space. living room will turn this technology to practical use, for the benefit of design and architecture related applications. Atmosphere-evoking scenarios such as audio-visual sequences or narration-driven interactive interventions conjure up certain moods, anticipate what might be new ways of interior design, and dissolve the physically perceptible borderlines of space. The first stage of the project has produced a studio prototype. Based on that, the following stage will now look in depth at the design-related language and will be exhibited and evaluated at the Museum of Communication in Bern.700 - Künste und Unterhaltungliving-room200 - Projekt
