Loris Concept, a Swiss bike company based in Münchenstein, had been using multiple IT systems dedicated to specific processes inside the business. This caused major issues as the transfer of vital information between systems was difficult. For these reasons, the business requested that we investigate and give a recommendation as to whether the ERP Solution "Cycle" provided by the Swiss vendor App-Room was viable to manage all of their business processes and would provide a level of benefit, that was superior to the current patchwork solution and make the migration efforts worth realizing.

Swiss Acceptance in Sharing Personal Data in Insurance Quote Process

Calingo Insurance AG has developed a new insurance offer process in which partnering landlords and property management firms offer Calingo Insurance AG’s insurance products direct to their tenants. As part of the process, the tenant can choose to have the landlord send the data captured on the rental application direct to Calingo Insurance AG to create an instant insurance quote. However, Calingo Insurance AG is unsure about Swiss acceptance of sharing personal data between third parties. The purpose of the paper is to determine if Swiss residents will accept utilize this process.
