    Design and prototypical implementation of a mobile application for the configuration of detector systems

    The client manufactures systems which are used to sense the surroundings of doors and gates to control their movement and guarantee the safety of people. The current configuration process of these detector systems requires knowledge of the systems' available settings, a reference guide, and in some cases even specialized equipment. This thesis's scope was to simplify this process by conceptualizing a mobile application that allows for the wireless configuration of detector systems. This application was then implemented as a prototype.

    Als Maschinenhersteller braucht unsere Auftraggeberschaft in Zeiten der Digitalisierung die Möglichkeit, sicher und direkt mit ihrer Kundschaft zu interagieren. Bis vor kurzem wurden Dokumentationen noch analog beim Verkauf einer Maschine abgegeben. Wissen kann nur über öffentlich zugängliche Kanäle verfügbar gemacht werden. Nach dem Pull-Prinzip soll die Kundschaft zukünftig bei Bedarf die aktuellsten digitalen Assets abrufen können. Dabei soll nur das Wissen geteilt werden, welches einem authentifizierten Kunden auch zusteht.
