Loris Concept, a Swiss bike company based in Münchenstein, had been using multiple IT systems dedicated to specific processes inside the business. This caused major issues as the transfer of vital information between systems was difficult. For these reasons, the business requested that we investigate and give a recommendation as to whether the ERP Solution "Cycle" provided by the Swiss vendor App-Room was viable to manage all of their business processes and would provide a level of benefit, that was superior to the current patchwork solution and make the migration efforts worth realizing.

Master Data Management and Administration

One of the most important master data entities is the list on which all public transport stations (bus, train, and tram) are stored. The list data are obtained from an external source. To perform the update of the list and thereby harmonizing the data with the external source a lot of manual effort is required, which potentially can be automated. Therefore, a solution artifact is developed. Further, the integrity of the existing master data, the most pressing master data issues in the company, and how to solve them, is researched and evaluated in accordance with contemporary best-practices.
