    Business Cases for Shared Mobility in the Triangle Region CH / D / F

    Smart Regio Basel promotes digital networking in the Basel region to sustainably increase the region’s attractiveness for living and working. In their paper on MaaS for Basel, they have discussed the barriers of a cross-border MaaS concept for Basel and its bordering countries. This thesis is complementary to their previous research. The aim of the project is an analysis of local Shared Mobility providers, the revelation of challenges that these enterprises face in regard to cross-border mobility, and to recommend courses of action that would enable a tri-regional MaaS solution.

    Competitor Analysis for the Field of IoT Sensors with the Measurement via LoRaWAN

    The conducted market analysis was intended to address the forward-looking concept of the Internet of Things. The focal points of the research were the segmentation of the Swiss and global markets as well as the exploration of the value chain of enterprises that were already operating in said market segments. In addition, the project focused only on the niche market for long-range communication in the field of IoT. Ultimately, this analysis should provide a transparent overview of promising market areas and the most significant local and global competitors.
