This partnership seeks to explore the potential of mobile devices and related (social networking) technologies and services in addressing intercultural communication problems of migrant families in the area of health care, in particular in the field of pediatrics. How can mobile technologies support the learning of parents and carers from migration backgrounds about helping chronically ill children in the accomplishment of everyday life and education-related tasks in order to preventing isolation during extended periods in hospital?
