Feasibility of using interactive tabletop robots for offloading the cognitive and emotional burdens of caregivers in senior care

Abstract

This project investigates the use of tabletop robots as voice-interactive assistants for caregivers in senior care. Using an open-source platform, FHNW IIT will assess acceptance and feasibility through prototype deployment at Spitex Unicare, producing a blueprint for robotic caregiver support.
