Description
Abstract
The present feasibility study aims at developing novel engineered membranes that can selectively remove nano-sized particles, i.e. defined viruses, from liquids. The affinity of the membrane for selected viruses is based on the immobilization of nanoparticles that possess imprints of the targeted viruses at their surface. A company active in the installation and operation of filtration plants, will be involved from the early stage of the development process.
