| dc.description.abstract | To address these issues, this thesis adapts the BPM lifecycle that integrates design and implementation. An agile modelling technique is designed to improve BPM by fostering close collaboration between business and IT. On the one hand, the modelling technique consists of a procedure that combines design and implementation as a coherent element and complements agile principles. Furthermore, a modelling language was developed in ADOxx, which extends the BPMN model with an application architecture model to complement the IT perspective and establish a shared understanding. | |
