Abstract
The desire to Europeanize is blurring cultural and linguistic boundaries, erasing the uniqueness of each national heritage. This project explores how Ukraine can preserve its cultural identity while integrating with European standards. It focuses on modernizing the Ukrainian Cyrillic alphabet to improve readability and appeal without new laws. By modifying certain letters and diversifying text design through hybridization, the project aims to attract younger audiences and support typographic experimentation while remaining inclusive for older generations. The goal is to propose solutions that enhance readability and aesthetics, respecting Ukraine's cultural heritage while balancing cultural preservation with modernization amidst globalization.
