Abstract
Inabel is a traditional weaving practice from Ilocos, a region in northwestern Philippines, that has been passed down orally and by practice for generations. This study reimagines Inabel as a digital tool for cultural preservation and generative pattern design. The tool is meant to express ideas, preserve tradition, and make meaningful statements using a custom typeface derived from Inabel patterns.
