Zusammenfassung
There is no uniform understanding of what enterprise architecture is or which roles it contains. The enterprise architecture standard TOGAF 9.1 defines an Architecture Skills Framework in order to address this problem. However, the definitions provided by this framework lack comprehensiveness. Next to the lack of comprehensive definitions on its roles, skills and skill levels, the framework does not assign tasks and responsibilities to its roles. Figure 1 illustrates these extensions. The thesis statement is based on this gap and proclaims: It is possible to define roles based on tasks, responsibilities and skills to define role descriptions within enterprise architecture. This thesis used the design science research strategy. The practical contribution of this thesis lies within the extended Architecture Skills Framework based on TOGAF. In order to ensure the practical relevance of the results, four experts from the fields of enterprise architecture and recruiting were interviewed. 17 requirements were elicited from the results of these interviews, of which eight were identified as to-be addressed within this thesis. All of these requirements were addressed by extending TOGAF’s Architecture Skills Framework with definitions on skills, skill levels, tasks and responsibilities based on the skills framework SFIA 6....
