Abstract
In the past decade, the software development industry has been taken over by agile development methods. However, non-agile client organizations pose a challenge for agile projects and especially requirements engineering, because it interacts the closest with the client. This study investigates the state of the requirements engineering process in today's software development projects and aims to define measures to make it more agile. Qualitative interviews were conducted with eight industry experts based on their rich experience with software projects.
