Abstract
In a world full of information, it’s common to feel like you’re aware of what’s happening globally and staying up to date. But do we really know what’s going on?
In most events happening around us, we are merely observers. How much do we really know about an event after it’s been covered in the news or posted about on Instagram?
On March 25, 2024, in Kyiv, Ukraine, a missile fragment, shot down by air defense forces, fell on the Boychuk Academy, destroying part of the educational building. The event was covered like other destructions during the war. But unlike other events, there are still people I know at this university, and I saw how much remains beyond the scope of the news.
The graphic novel aims to fill the gaps in media coverage and document the war's multifaceted and layered realities. The story focuses on what eyewitnesses are feeling and what they are going through during such events.
