Multiple business organizations are being captivated by the benefits provided in the cloud, generating a rapid migration from their legacy systems to cloud computing. Some of the major technical benefits include multi- tenancy, scalability, dynamic service provisioning, virtualization, elasticity, availability, pay as you go, ease of use, and lower IT cost (Shuaib et al., 2019). But there are several technical and non-technical challenges associated with the cloud migration process. Organizations are unable to migrate successfully to a cloud platform and fulfil the business goals because they do not have a clear cloud strategy, do not understand the cloud platform, and do not have confidence about how to initiate the cloud adoption process.
