dc.description.abstractThe main objective of this study is to provide assistance for decision-makers in Swiss e-commerce start-ups in choosing the most suitable and beneficial use case. The design science research approach is followed to serve the goal of the thesis. This approach includes literature review to identify potential BI use cases, interviews that are held with Swiss start-ups, surveys that are conducted as well by Swiss start-ups, and a solution artifact which is the output of the thesis and a priority ranking list of potential BI use cases that can be applied for as many organizations as possible in this industry.
