Reaction calorimetry for hazardous chemical reactions in an autoclave with a high phi factor. This new calorimetric principle could be safely applied for the investigation of the polymerization of vinyl acetate. In parallel to the thermal signal, the pressure is recored an can be used to validate decomposition models.
