How can web 2.0 principles influence knowledge exchange and knowledge application

Abstract

Collaboration platforms are used widely in the corporate professional environment. But Web 2.0 and enterprise social networking is not used to its full potential in a development and cooperation environment that could enable the members to express and contribute their tacit knowledge and leverage the value of knowledge by sharing and applying it for their daily work. The Swiss Agency of Development and Cooperation (SDC) is the international cooperation in Switzerland, which coordinates development projects in many countries across the world. These projects are executed in collaboration with partners from diverse field of work.
