A framework for Jira-based agile project management shown for Würth IT

Abstract

This thesis investigates how Jira can be utilised to enhance project coordination in a distributed IT department with numerous small, parallel projects. The research was conducted at Würth IT, where globally dispersed teams rely on a diverse range of tools and workflows. To address these challenges, a new Jira-based agile project management framework was developed and piloted in one of the company’s departments.
