dc.description.abstractWith the help of single board computers, an optimized audio playback solution will be designed and built. The technical focus is set on creating a device for receiving and transmitting sound while applying principles derived from design thinking as well as usability optimization. The focus of the scientific research lays on the implementation and optimization of the user interface of the aforementioned audio playback interface. The master thesis will research several aspects in order to set the focus for the subsequent development of the interface in regards to its optimization. Aspects of high interests are for the usability of single board computers as a basis for such a device and thus for conducting the research on how to make the interaction of the device attractive as well as user friendly while providing the functionality expected from such a system. To design as well as validate the design approaches, testing procedures are employed with the goal of implementing an optimized prototype design in regards to usability.
