This is one of the main findings of a systematic literature review. This systematic literature review elucidates what can be learned from research on practices that have been developed to maintain a sustainable work–care balance. Research indicates that firms have rarely actively addressed the topic and many seem unaware of the challenges employees are facing and the support they need. If firms offer support, they often favour individual, case-based solutions, whereas systematic approaches seem less likely to be put in place. In general, the findings show that better support for companies and for carers would seem important, even urgent, but the knowledge base for offering this support is not well developed.01A - Beitrag in wissenschaftlicher ZeitschriftPublikation Ein evidenzbasiertes Filmprojekt über die Herausforderungen, Bedürfnisse und Lebensumstände älterer Menschen mit HIV(23.03.2023) Nideröst, Sibylle; Imhof, Christoph06 - PräsentationPublikation An evidence-based film project on the challenges, needs, and living arrangements of older people living with HIV(Wiley, 03/2023) Imhof, Christoph; Weber, Patrick; Kempter, Fabian; Nideröst, Sibylle01A - Beitrag in wissenschaftlicher ZeitschriftPublikation Positiv älter werden – Ein Sensibilisierungsfilm für die diversitätssensible Pflege HIV-positiver Menschen(medhochzwei, 2023) Imhof, Christoph; Nideröst, Sibylle; Forbrig, Theresa A.; Gräske, Johannes04A - Beitrag SammelbandPublikation Analyse der BerDa Daten 2020-2022(Institut Integration und Partizipation, Hochschule für Soziale Arbeit FHNW, 2023) Hassler, Benedikt; Bigoni, Daniele; Nideröst, Sibylle05 - Forschungs- oder ArbeitsberichtPublikation The relevance of the workplace for combining employment and informal care for older adults: results of a systematic literature review(Policy Press, 2023) Geisen, Thomas; Krajic, Karl; Nideröst, Sibylle; Mairhuber, Ingrid; Dötig, Charlotte; Altherr, Andrin; Schenk, Salome; Schweighoffer, RekaThe significance of formal and informal supports and barriers on the company level for combining employment and informal care for older adults has rarely been investigated.
