Digitalization of the Registration Process for New Employees

The registration process refers to the practice of collecting employee data and transmitting it to the HR department, which require said data to initiate the onboarding process. The entire registration is carried out manually and without a clear workflow or structure, which often leads to incomplete results and tedious, time-intensive clarification efforts by the HR department. Furthermore, the registration process is the last manual component within an otherwise performant digital HR process chain, thereby bottlenecking the performance of the entire system for employee data management.

The platform lernumgebungen.ch would ideally create an environment that will ultimately benefit the students and how they can interact with teachers. The client wants to inspire teachers and give them creative ideas on how they can structure their classes, he wants to provide a basis for them where they can improve their classes and adapt them to their individual needs. The project team was given a running Drupal 7 site as a starting point and was tasked with a comprehensive migration to Drupal 9. Without any Drupal knowledge, the team started to learn the CMS and develop a migration strategy.
