Zusammenfassung
During the AGORA project, we developed a multi-layered perspective that not only differentiated between target groups but also addressed the levels at which this project aimed to initiate change - individual, institutional and societal. We intended to have an impact along three connected lines: On the one hand, we challenged narratives about resilience and violence prevention and introduced new discourses into the public discussion; on the other hand, we involved young people in co-creation processes, helped to shape them, to experience negotiation and their own agency; and finally, we tested what participatory violence prevention can actually achieve and how we can incorporate these findings into scientific and educational policy discourses. The resulting videos and stories carry emotional and narrative power into society. They function as an intervention - less through moral appeals than through the density of personal experience and participative appeal to young people and (future) teachers.
