Abstract
Uchu Tarwi is a visual essay, a recipe and a tender dialogue that invites you to the kitchen of my abuela Rosa, my grandmother, in Chimbote, Ancash. While recounting the preparation of the ceviche de tarwi, she shares the story of this Quechua indigenous crop in the Callejon de Huaylas and its ecological wisdoms.
