dc.description.abstract | Digital transformation has currently a high relevance within companies. They are aware of the opportunities and threads such a transformation can have. Nevertheless, there is no structured process to help them find suitable transformation possibilities, especially for smaller companies with limited resources and options. This master thesis takes a first step and establishes a tool in order to classify successful digital transformation initiatives and provides the user with inspiration of possible directions. During the research approach, an ontology was created to classify the successful digital transformationinitiatives. The development followed a design science approach, and the first iterations of the ontology were based on two digital transformation cases and the literature review. The ontology was continuously evaluated, and new iterations could be developed. Those evaluations were based on multiple expert interviews and the recording of additional digital transformation cases.... | |
