Abstract
The rapid evolution of Big data that contains a wide variety of data, can provide a new way of understanding customer needs and wants. And this could offer potential opportunities to enhance value and accelerate the innovation process. Continuous improvements in data analysis tools and techniques can reveal new ideas, and novel patterns from the Big data and supports for an efficient decision making, a crux of innovation process. There are several usages of Big data analysis tools and techniques, but these techniques are not mapped to different phases of the innovation process. Thus, a systematic literature review potentially reveals all available data analysis tools and techniques that can be mapped to different phases of the innovation process. Further, the identified and relevant data analysis tool and techniques can be applied to accelerate the innovation process in different sectors.
