Abstract
Both business and IT departments have their own strategies. The IT strategy should support the business. Since the business has growth targets, the IT systems should be ready for it. As the application portfolio is very complex, fast growth is only possible with the acceptance of higher risks.
Currently, the understanding between business and IT should be strongly enhanced. There is currently a lack of transparency on the IT side and trust into IT on the business side, which is also due to historical reasons.
