Abstract
In the last years, nations have been forced to reduce their expenses due to financial limitations. Therefore, expenses must be carefully controlled, but, also, services must be optimized to obtain the best outcomes. Then, Regional Hospitals must develop competitive advantages to obtain the desired results and maintain a position in the industry. To reach this, researches have proved that there is a strong relationship between hospital management practices and hospital health care outcomes, hospitals with higher management-practices scores reach better clinical outcomes. So, it suggests that management practices in hospitals really matter for patient wellbeing and that health care can be highly improved by MIS. This research focuses on the impact of MIS on Regional Hospitals, based on relevant theory involved and real examples in UK.
