dc.description.abstractClustering related organisations often results in better and more specialised suppliers, information spill-overs between companies, stronger labour pools and more creative competition between neighbours. The agro cluster in Hamilton NZ got generous public funding at the start but suffered from a lack of trust between public organisations and also with some private participants. Therefore it was stopped after the public funding expired.
