dc.description.abstractDue to the rapidly increasing number of incoming Chinese tourists annually, some smaller shops, such as local souvenir shops and restaurants, experience a delay in processing transactions when a large group of tourists are in a rush to conduct their payments. It is assumed that it would be beneficial to many shops, hotels and restaurants in the tourist regions to implement the Chinese mobile payment services in those areas. To understand the opportunity and the potential outcome, the research will answer the following questions: What is the preferred payment method of Chinese tourists? How is the current market reaction to the possibility of the implementation of Chinese mobile payment services?
