Quantifying the benefits of occupancy analytics

Abstract

Due to the relatively infancy of occupancy analytics platforms, the benefits and possible cost savings of investing in such solutions are not fully understood yet. At the moment, it is up to the clients to calculate their own business cases, in order to decide if an investment would be reasonable. To be able to present an easy overview of possible savings which are possible, an according research of possible use cases, and their according saving potential is of interest. Relevant research areas for Locatee are: space optimization, HVAC optimization and impact on employee.
