Abstract
As a company operating in the construction industry, the engineering offices of Rothpletz, Lienhard + Cie AG carry out numerous construction projects all over Switzerland. Larger projects are thereby carried out in engineering consortiums, which act as independent entities and imply the merger of several companies for the purpose of a successful project realization. Due to the involvement of different companies, there exist administrative processes with a high potential for optimization, such as the process of accounting, reporting, and controlling.
