Abstract
Nowadays, knowledge work can be done at different places. The literature shows differing advantages and disadvantages. But what predominates? Are the gains and dangers of mobile-flexible work the same for all people or do personal aspects play a role? The research of this master thesis focuses on the correlation between mobile-flexible work and exhaustion, sleep quality, work-life-balance and professional isolation and on the question if the personality moderates these contexts. The hypotheses were analysed by a sample of 499 employed persons based on correlation analysis and moderator analysis. The evaluation shows significant correlations between mobile-flexible work and exhaustion, sleep quality and work-life-balance. The results indicate a mainly positive effect of the mobile-flexible work. This indicates that flexibility in everyday working practices is important for the well-being of the employees and that employers should support these modes of working and consider them in the hu-man resources marketing.
