Abstract
There is still a lot of potential to innovate and to digitally transform the Swiss public sector. Innovations are crucial in addressing emerging challenges such as the COVID-19 virus outbreak. Although governments have learned to tackle the challenges of COVID-19, more pandemics are expected in the future. The public sector also faces challenges such as population growth which increases the need of efficiency in processing transactions. In addition, citizens have increasing expectations regarding service accessibility and processing time.
