S, founded to create meaningful employment for individuals with disabilities, operates in Zurich, Winterthur, and Richterswil, Switzerland. However, the COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated the application of digital technology and automation, which has drastically decreased the need for ESPAS's traditional administrative services. This decline threatens the sustainability of ESPAS's mission-driven business model, posing significant challenges in maintaining its role as a social enterprise committed to inclusive employment.
