Scale Up Plan for Start-ups

Abstract

This bachelor thesis focuses on the establishment of a guide, which will help start ups to navigate through the complex and demanding scaling phase. Where there are numerous frameworks, plans, checklists, guides, and other supporting sources when it comes to creating and founding a business, there seems to be a lack when it comes to the scaling stage. The challenges and opportunities start ups encounter regarding their different core and supporting departments are studied and analysed. These objectives are a result of the following research question: What challenges and opportunities do start ups encounter while scaling up and which business units are affected?
