Abstract
My project is a tribute to the lesbian community, it is an exercise of acknowledging the ways lesbians conveyed their sapphic existences in terms of self-presentation. I reflect on what was the role of fashion and aesthetic expression in the formation of the lesbian subject, looking for connections between the rationalisation of a sexual identity and the forms of self-appearance.
