T DAWN: ACT I explores the enigmatic atmosphere that surrounds the experience of the break of dawn. The metaphorical walk through the valley of the shadow of death becomes a poignant journey through loss, fighting and hope. The aftermath of faith remains a constant inspiration. Fear, initially existential and daunting, is now explored as a catalyst for strength, transforming into unmatched resilience. Wearable objects as an extention of the body turn into a display of power and proclaim some sort of victory. The morning fog becomes a metaphor for the unknown, explored through the lens of fear, faith and the bittersweet separation from the original source of the divine. The rising sun piercing through the haze represents the end of sorrow and the beginning of a new cycle. The question of creating my own religion lingers, a quest for a personal reconnection to the divine. The symbolism of the christian cross is reimagined as something abstract and personal, exploring its potential as a non-religious symbol. AT DAWN: ACT I encompasses a journey through dichotomy and the power to stay resilient through the unknown. It celebrates the triumph of the human spirit and standing strong in the face of fear. Ultimately AT DAWN: ACT I describes a scene, capturing a specific moment and atmosphere.
