dc.description.abstractOxidative desulfurization of thiophene in pressurized water was evaluated as a pretreatment for catalytic hydrothermal gasification. Sulfate formation was enhanced by oxygen‑rich carbon surfaces and molybdenum dioxide, highlighting the roles of oxidant ratio and surface chemistry.
