Abstract
The research topic of this master thesis is agility for small and medium-sized IT Operations teams. This master thesis aims to develop a mobile application concept that helps small and medium-sized IT operations teams to adopt agile methodologies. An IT operations team has a few possibilities to learn and adopt agile methods. The learning features should offer guidance, including best practices, and focus on IT-operations teams. However, such features were outside the focus of existing mobile applications. There is a gap between the features offered by the existing mobile agile coaching applications and the features needed as a support tool to help adopt agile methodologies for small and medium-sized IT operations teams. The research illustrates a possible mobile application concept with the specification, self-assessment questions, a sample coaching process, and features that could be used to develop a mobile application. The mobile application shall not replace a coach.
