Publikation Cooperative research project - Knowledge integration(Hochschule für Wirtschaft FHNW, 2019) Brancato, Rosario; Hauenstein, Florian; Korteweg, Simon; Sabbioni, Giordano; Martin, Andreas; Endress + Hauser Process Solutions AG, Reinach BLA modern trend for customers is trying to fix a problem first before contacting customer services. To adapt to this trend our client wants to offer a self-service web platform to its customers. The customer should be able to search for occurring problems and always get high quality answers from the system. The source knowledge comes from the internal CRM system. Allowing the customer to search for solutions by themselves empowers them to actively pursue the solving of a problem. An additional benefit would be a reduced strain on the customer care centre.11 - Studentische ArbeitPublikation May I show you the route? Developing a service robot application in a library using design science research(Springer, 2021) Sabbioni, Giordano; Zhong, Jia; Jäger, Janine; Schmiedel, Theresa; Ahram, Tareq; Taiar, RedhaThe present study demonstrates the ongoing development of a service robot application in a campus library through the application of Design Science Research (DSR) combined with user-centered design (UCD). In particular, we involved librarians and co-created an application solution addressing two use cases: giving directions to a desired subject area/book and providing recommendations for an event/book. Additionally, we involved potential end users to evaluate the robot artifact through an onsite usability test (N = 14) already within the design cycle. This process resulted in a successful application of the robot artifact for the identified use cases and shows feasibility of combining DSR with UCD.04B - Beitrag KonferenzschriftPublikation Social Robot Use Cases at the FHNW Campus Muttenz Library(Hochschule für Wirtschaft FHNW, 2020) Sabbioni, Giordano; Zhong, Jia; Schmiedel, Theresa; Institute for Information Systems, HSW FHNW, BaselThe awareness of social robotics as part of the advance in technology is constantly growing. To identify the potential benefits of social robots, the FHNW Robo-Lab conducts, among others, a case study at the FHNW Campus Muttenz library, in which the humanoid robot Pepper supports the staff and visitors in their daily business. This bachelor thesis aims to identify and implement use cases, which best meet the needs of the library, and discusses success factors and barriers from the librarian's perspective.11 - Studentische Arbeit
