Publikation The NetAcademy - A Novel Approach to Domain-specific Scientific Knowledge Accumulation, Dissemination and Review.(1998) Lincke, David-Michael; Schmid, Beat; Schubert, Petra; Selz, DorianOver the last decade the speed at which knowledge is generated has greatly accelerated, thus exacerbating the problem of finding the right information at the right time and posing new kinds of challenges to the management of an ever increasing pool of knowledge. Taking up the ideas of the ancient Greek concept of Academia, the ?NetAcademy? is aiming at providing a knowledge medium to aid in the creation, integration, reviewing and dissemination of domain-specific knowledge in the scientific community taking full advantage of the unique characteristics of the Internet medium. The vision is to offer an open structure and management concept for virtually any kind of field of research in search of an intelligible organization of its contents. The paper emphasizes on the motivation of the NetAcademy concept and its feasibility on the basis of available Internet technologies.04B - Beitrag KonferenzschriftPublikation A Global Knowledge Medium as a Virtual Community: The NetAcademy Concept(1998) Schubert, Petra; Lincke, David-Michael; Schmid, BeatTaking up the ideas of the ancient Greek concept of Academia, the ?NetAcademy? is aiming at providing a knowledge medium to aid in the creation, integration, reviewing and dissemination of domain-specific knowledge in the scientific community. In pursuit of these goals it is taking full advantage of the unique characteristics and potential of the Internet medium. The NetAcademy is an existing web information system (WIS) which was developed in order to support the building of virtual scientific communities for different research fields.04B - Beitrag KonferenzschriftPublikation Workflow zur Unterstützung von Wissensmanagement(2001) Hinkelmann, Knut04B - Beitrag KonferenzschriftPublikation Context-Aware, Proactive Delivery of Task-Specific Knowledge: The KnowMore Project(Springer, 2000) Abecker, Andreas; Bernardi, Ansgar; Hinkelmann, Knut; Kühn, Otto; Sintek, Michael01A - Beitrag in wissenschaftlicher ZeitschriftPublikation Towards an Integrated Approach to Assess the Potential of an Enterprise to Mature Knowledge, 5th Conference Professional Knowledge Management - Experiences and Visions(Gesellschaft für Informatik, 25.03.2009) Brun, Roman; Hinkelmann, Knut; Telesko, Rainer; Thönssen, Barbara; Bludau, Hans-Bernd; Koop, Andreas; Hinkelmann, Knut; Wache, HolgerIn this paper we describe a multi-dimensional framework for knowledge maturing and learning. The framework consists of seven dimensions and supports the assessment of the knowledge management as-is-state in a company as well as the selection of appropriate approaches and methods for a further improvement. The paper also discusses the relationship to comparable approaches (e.g. intellectual capital statements) and ends with open issues for a proper implementation of the maturity framework.04B - Beitrag KonferenzschriftPublikation What is Organizational Knowledge Maturing and how can it be assessed?(2009) Riss, Uwe; Witschel, Hans Friedrich; Brun, Roman; Thönssen, BarbaraWe introduce the concept of organizational knowledge maturing based on the idea of developing knowledge assets. We explain the dimensions that have to beconsidered and introduce the Knowledge Maturing Dimension Framework to measure the maturity level. From Full Text Search to Semantic Web: The Infofox Project(2003) Sigrist, Barbara; Schubert, PetraInfofox is a project launched by the Ecademy, the National Network of Excellence of the Swiss Universities of Applied Sciences for e-business and e-government. The paper discusses an envisioned improvement of the service level of the Ecademy Web site, an information portal which is set to integrate valuable information from the different member schools. The goal of the Infofox project is the development of an intelligent search engine. In order to fully exploit the potential of the information provided by the Ecademy members, the Infofox project team will need to implement aspects of a Semantic Web ? namely an ontology built upon a joint classification scheme and a set of inference rules. The RIP paper presents the basic concept and the results of the first phase of the project.04B - Beitrag KonferenzschriftPublikation 04B - Beitrag KonferenzschriftPublikation The NetAcademy - A New Concept for Online Publishing and Knowledge Management(1998) Schmid, Beat; Schubert, Petra; Selz, Dorian; Stanoevska-Slabeva, Katarina; Handschuh, Siegfried04B - Beitrag Konferenzschrift
