Abstract
The paper discusses the transformation of two companies adopting digital services, highlighting the ecosystem that connects public and private entities. It examines the dimensions of an ecosystem described in the literature and characterizes them based on two case studies. It highlights the collaboration between actors for the creation of a joint value proposition through the ecosystem and the use of technology for value creation. The analysis emphasizes the importance of the additional dimension of data and clarifies the role of the orchestrator.
