Zusammenfassung
We develop a booklet that contains facts and figures on homelessness in Switzerland, Germany and Austria. In cooperation with the International Network of Social Tours INST and the Swiss social tour guides (former homeless people) we develop a 3-day training for social tour guides from Switzerland, Germany and Austria (60-80 participants). By supporting INST and the guides with scientific knowledge from our ongoing SNCF funded research project “Exploring Homelessness and Pathways to Social Inclusion: A Comparative Study of Contexts and Challenges in Swiss and Croatian Cities” (No. IZHR-ZO_180631/1) we aim to encourage the former homeless people (and today social city tour guides) to reflect about the interwovenness of structural and personal reasons that lead into homelessness and report about this during their tours to raise awareness among the participants (the broad public).
