dc.description.abstractEntering a market as a start-up can be challenging. The hoped-for success might not come, and new challenges emerge quickly. This is also known to Discentia. Discentia is a new course booking platform for both online and on-site courses. Discentia was founded as a start-up and subsidiary of MedienArt AG in 2020. Yet, Discentia has not attracted the hoped-for success in the online course booking market since its founding, despite initial research suggesting that there was a place in the market for such a concept. Discentia decided to work with the FHNW on this project to find the problem.
